As the title suggests, this work is a collection of verses from Śrīmad Bhagavad-Gītā and Śrī Guru-Aṣṭaka (along with some elucidations) that guide us towards God. It also contains a detailed explanation of the aparādhas (sevā-aparādha and nāma-aparādha) that should be avoided with conscious efforts.  All these three topics are mutually dependent and cannot be considered in isolation if one wishes to achieve the desired goal.

The theme of this work is the presentation of bhāgavata-dharma in a simple, easy and practical manner. While the introduction and the main text bring out its salient features in a clear manner, the epilogue describes the application and practice of bhāgavata-dharma and the role of Go-Sevā in it.
